Resicom CEO to Judge Entrepreneur Contest
John Fairclough will be judging the Coleman Center’s annual DePaul University New Venture Challenge held February 4th to the 14th. The judges, selected amongst Chicago entrepreneurs, will determine which DePaul student has best met the challenge of an introducing an innovating new venture interest.
The New Venture Challenge is open to all DePaul students, regardless of concentration of study. Fairclough and the panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on viability and feasibility of the proposed venture. Fairclough has a long running interest in assisting first level entrepreneurs to the next level, mentoring business owners and working with Entrepreneurs Organization as a board member.
The Resicom Group’s newest venture is Verus Consulting, which focuses on executive development and leadership training.
The Coleman Center is a part of DePaul University, and is linked with the College of Commerce’s academic program in entrepreneurship. The center has two objectives, to help students launch and grow their own ventures and to help second-stage businesses through peer-to-peer educational programs and roundtables.
