Resicom Project Manager Kristine Bromberek was recently elected onto the Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors at the March meeting. A life-long resident of Lemont, Kristine is thrilled with the opportunity to give back to the community that she has always called home. “I’m honored to be on the board. It’s a completely new experience for me, and I’m looking forward to being an active member,” says Kristine, “Lemont is my home-town, and I want to see the community grow and flourish.”
The Lemont Area Chamber of Commerce focuses on overall economic and community growth, attracting businesses and residents to the historic town just southwest of Chicago. One of Kristine’s primary responsibilities will be to assist the board’s many event-planning endeavors throughout the year. “I have a talent for planning and organizing occasions,” says Kristine who is also busy coordinating Resicom’s Rustic Retreat 2009, “I think I can successfully contribute to the upcoming events like the May 28th Open House, formal dance and golf outing.”
Resicom continues to be a committed presence to civic involvement, and is enthusiastic at having Kristine act as our liaison with the Lemont Chamber of Commerce. “Not only will I represent Resicom, but I’ll be able to meet and interact with many other different business owners and community leaders. The idea that I’ll have the opportunity to exchange ideas and network is very exciting,” continues Kristine.
“Kristine is a rising star in our company,” says Resicom CEO John Fairclough. “As a Director, she will be able to use her energy and insight to help build events that influence commerce within her hometown. Interaction with other business leaders has been one of the most important pieces of my personal development. I look forward to Kristine enjoying the same success.”
