Preventative Maintenance, also called Planned Maintenance, is an underutilized piece of the facility maintenance system. It is where a location is regularly inspected with the intention of bundling items to be repaired into one larger scope of work that drives down the cost of each item being repaired.

This work is scheduled around the stores operations. Much of our Preventative Maintenance work is completed at night. By doing this we are able to deliver value to our clients by limiting disruption and giving our technicians the ability to work in an efficient manner

Emergency Maintenance, also called Reactionary Maintenance, is where a service request is generated after something breaks or is damaged. This is something that needs to be completed soon, to limit disruption to the operations and appearance of the facility.

This work is scheduled to be completed as quickly as possibly. They are often completed during store hours so much care is taken to be courteous to customers and store personnel. All efforts are made to limit disruption of the store and shopping experience. Typical projects include repairing cash wrap doors and drawers, re-securing trim that has come loose,

Special projects are typically more specific per location. They address damage that is specific to one location due to damage or a unique challenge faced at a location. A storefront replacement or rebuilding an area because of a leak are examples of this type of project.

Roll-out projects typically involve multiple locations. They address a new feature, prop, or safety concern of the store . Fixture replacement, mirror safety modifications, and new marketing mechanisms are examples of this type of project.

As stores age, they lose their “like-new” appearance. Flooring and fixtures wear, trim gets damaged, and typical wear and tear sets in. In many cases the client is keeping with the current spec, so we “refresh” the store through carpet replacement, trim and fixture replacement, and repainting. There are some circumstances where the design is changed as well.

Painting has two purposes - one protective and the other decorative. By understanding the two components, we are able to help our clients achieve the look they desire with the materials that will properly protect the surfaces. We are capable of following specifications given by the client as well as developing coating solutions for our clients when required.

Our teams work well together to achieve the goal of limiting disruption and delivering value to our clients. We schedule work with drying times, odors, and prep work coverings and noise in mind, so many of our projects are scheduled during off store hours.

Many retailers have seasonal or periodic repaint schedules to improve the overall look of the store and experience of the shopper. These projects may involve seasonal repainting of a couple of walls, planned repainting of areas, and recolor programs where the look of the store is changed. Sometimes this is part of a refresh program, but often it is a stand alone project.
